... Bowenite Denise Willis Passed Last Sunday Morning, October 26, 2014. She quietly passed away while hospitalized & receiving treatment for an incurable Illness. Denise's funeral & burial were held last Thursday. While I don't have more details surrounding her death, I ask you to keep her brother Dennis Willis & Family In Your Prayers.
When Denise attended Bowen, she was very quiet yet fun loving & an artistic kind of girl. After we graduated In '72, our journey continued together @ Southern Illinois University. Even in college, Denise was always quiet; such a very kind & thoughtful person who loved her family beyond measure! Indeed, time Is filled with swift transition. Rest In Peace Our Dear Bowenite Denise, You Will Be Missed ...Until We Meet Again...

Sorry to hear about Denise passing away last month. I had not seen her in a number of years. She had worked with my mother as a teacher at the Harvard Elementary school in Chicago. My condolences to Dennis and the rest of the Willis family.
