To all my fellow Boilermakers and E.I.U. friends it's with deep sorrow that I have to share the sad news that my dear friend of almost 50 years Taylor Cannon passed away today. Throughout high school and college he was always there for me. I will miss him dearly. A true friend like no other.
Myra Adams added:
His passing was quite sudden & unexpected! In my last conversation w/Taylor was so looking forward to our Class Reunion in November. Please Keep The Cannon Family In Your Prayers

Look up the word "Gentleman" in the dictionary, Taylor's picture should be there. In my memories of Bowen, when I think of Taylor, I immediately think of football. When Frosh Soph coach Contaldi wanted a quick touch down, the play he would send into the huddle was "Tight T Sweep Right,Long Post to Cannon". Taylor was always open. It was like having Jerry Rice on your team in High School. Super fast yet smooth with great hands! Got the Sad news from Jack(Snake)Peller. Rest Well Taylor, You Can't Stop Bowen Boilermakers!
