John E. Micun, age 67, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022. Beloved husband of Donna, nee Bonk. Devoted son of the late John and Anita. Loving brother of Annette (William) Cunningham and the late Jimmy Micun. Dear brother-in-law of Ken (Kris) Bonk. Dearest uncle of Julie Szara, Natalie (Rick) Bako, Eric Bonk, Adam (Andrea) Bonk and Sarah (James) Farrell. Dear great-uncle of many nieces and nephews.

John was the proud co-founder of Chicago's Finest Ironworks in Lansing, IL, a business that was a source of great pride for John for over 30 years. He enjoyed working with his hands to create beautiful ornamental ironwork that was incorporated into homes and businesses throughout the Chicagoland area.

Memorial Visitation Friday, June 17, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Family and friends are invited to meet directly at St. Michael Church, 14327 Highland Ave., Orland Park, IL on Saturday, June 18, 2022 for a Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m.
