I run/work at a Staffing firm that does searches for Permanent and Contract HR professionals, along with another Research/Recruitment firm servicing clients of all kinds, charged on an hourly project based process (vs. fee per hire).

I bought a baseball and softball training facility in Mt Prospect IL, called Play Ball USA in 2013, part of a multi-sport training facility (Baseball, Football, Track, Speed and Strength Training), as if I had nothing else to do.

I occasionally run charity events and do fund raising for the Les Turner ALS Foundation (Lou Gehrig's disease) based in Skokie IL. They are the largest private ALS Foundation in Illinois and take care of 90% of all patients in the area.

I am a, Honorary Board Member and run charity events for the Foundation, merging my love for baseball and volunteerism. I recruit Amateur Baseball players (willing to fund raise to play) and play Professional Baseball and Softball teams in exhibition games as well as coordinate partnerships with professional teams and team runs for the foundation.

We have played the Schaumburg Flyers, and the Schaumburg Boomers, the Independent Frontier Minor League Champions in 2013 and 2014.

We have also played the Women's Professional Fast Pitch Softball team, the Chicago Bandits (Yes, the team with Jenny Finch!!). They are repeat chamions too, in 2015 and 2016. We had a phenomenal time and raised a lot of money for ALS and hope to again this year!!

I also run a job counseling program at my congregation helping people who have lost jobs get back into the job market, how to network, research companies and people, interview, etc.

Still ride my Harley too. I can't do all good things, can I?

Playing on the '71 baseball championship team, (still getting together with most of the team 2-3 times a year, too) having such good friends throughout my 4 years at Bowen, learning about life in a multi-cultural world (and being a better person because of it).
